Your answer to the last question is incorrect but the explanation is okay (but not the best) …. it is a red card because (top of page 108): “where a player denies the opposing team a goal or obvious goal scoring opportunity by a deliberate handball offence the player is sent off wherever the offence occurs.”

You cite the Laws of the Game about denying someone an obvious goal-scoring opportunity. That’s not the correct part, as the question says that it stops a promising attack. So a red card is not the correct punishment and the answer given (penalty kick and yellow card) is correct.
