Well done by Chefren and the others!
“-3 points for each referee you predicted incorrectly to be selected for the 2014 World Cup” – imo this is problematic. If I understood your terms right we were “punished” for not knowing how many referees FIFA would appoint…so if I selected 4 main referees from North America and Africa, 10 main referees from Europe and 6 main referees from South America, I have systematically lost 12 points?

  • edward

    I agree with Niklas.

It was impossible for us to know the exact number of appointed referees. So the non-selected referees should not gives a minus.

That’s not a solution, Edward. Some people checked all the boxes, so have chosen all the referees to be selected to the World Cup. If there was no minus, they got all right. Would like to know if you got any other solution for the next time there’ll be a guessing. And the number of refs going to the World Cup being variable is part of the guessing.
